This is another great season for anniversaries! Our seven
celebrations of the art of song honour the poet Tennyson,
laureate of the Victorian age, as well as two composers
who are treasured particularly for their vocal music:
Purcell and Wolf.
Our
Sunday Series
in Walter Hall maintains its distinctive character, with
the music of each concert set in a narrative framework
and afternoon tea at intermission.
Also
in Walter Hall, our Discovery
Series features bright,
emerging vocal talent from the new generation.
June
2010 will see the presentation of the fourth Bayfield
Festival of Song,
